On Saturday, we took some time to make cascarones, which are colorful, confetti-filled egg shells. Rocio, Jackie, Will and I spent a good part of the afternoon dyeing and filling out the cascarones. Will and I had also prepared baskets for Miya, Rocio and Jackie. These are some of the pictures of us and our creations:

Then on Easter Sunday we had the egg hunt! But this is a lot more fun than a traditional egg hunt because we get to then crack all the cascarones on each other's heads. We had also hidden a couple of "golden" eggs with some cash it them :) These are some pictures of the hunt and the ensuing fun cracking the eggs.
